"Dreamin' 2000" was a big club hit for Loleatta Holloway. The record is a revamp of her 1976 club hit from her album Loleatta written by Allan Felder, Norman Harris, and Ron Tyson, and produced by Harris, with new remixes from Japanese DJ Satoshi Tomiie. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent a week at #1 in 2000, while reaching #59 on the British Singles Chart.
