Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. Ed Sheeran claims a second week at #1, while Rise Against (pictured above) climb four notches in the top ten. Former big hits by twenty-one pilots, Jake Owen, Jordan Davis, and Joel Corry/Raye/David Guetta drop off my chart, while songs from Dua Lipa, Lodato, and Foo Fighters make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). And under the list everything if Spotify playlisted for five and a half hours of the biggest in pop, country, rock, R&B, and dance. So what's there to celebrate, anyway?

 We can blame TikTok for the entry at #98, a remake of the song "Iko Iko" subtitled "My Bestie" by Justin Wellington from the Pacific country of Papua New Guinea along with Small Jam from neighboring Solomon Islands. The Dixie Cups first had a hit with this song in 1965...


Jameson Rodgers gets some help from country music A-lister Luke Combs at #99 with "Cold Beer Calling My Name" from his In It For The Money EP...

The final newbie of the week pairs up two of the biggest and best in British rap music today, as Dave and Stormzy storm in with "Clash" at #100. It's from Dave's British #1 album We're All In This Alone Together...
