"Boy, I've Been Told" was a big club and radio hit for Bronx-born singer Sa-Fire. Appearing on her self-titled debut album, the song was written by Marc Anthony (yes, that Mr. J-Lo Marc Anthony) and produced by Carlos Rodgers and Peter Schwartz. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #12 in 1988, while also climbing to #48 on the pop Hot 100.
