"El Choclo" ("the Corn Cob") was a club hit for Spanish music veteran Julio Iglesias. Appearing on his album Tango, the song is an adaptation of an early 1900s song from Angel Villoldo, with lyrics from Enrique Santos Discépolo and Carlos Catan, and originally produced by Roberto Livi, and remixed for the clubs by Hex Hector. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #32 in 1997.
