"Love Tempo" was a club hit for the electrodance group Quando Quango, consisting of DJ Mike Pickering of the Hacienda nightclub in  Manchester, England, along with Gonnie Reitveld from the Netherlands, Simon Topping, and Barry Johnson. Appearing as a bonus track on the act's sole album Pigs + Battleships, the song was written by the group and produced and mixed by Mark Kamins. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #4 in 1983. Pickering would go on to form the dance group M People in the 1990s.
