"Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" was a massive club and radio hit for the C & C Music Factory. Appearing on their debut album Gonna Make You Sweat, the song was produced by the act's "namesakes" Robert Clivilles and the late David Cole, and featured rapper Freedom Williams and an initially uncredited Martha Wash. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent five weeks at #1, while also topping their pop and R&B charts as well. Sadly, Cole passed in 1995.
