...and now on to the rock radio format sub-charts...

On the Mainstream Rock radio panel, Avenged Sevenfold spend an eighth week on top with "Hail To The King"...

Pearl Jam arrives up at #30 with the second single from their upcoming album, "Sirens". The first, "Mind Your Manners", peaked at #2 a couple of weeks ago...

The Stone Temple Pilots with fill-in lead singer Chester Bennington from Linkin Park arrive at #34 with "Black Heart". It's the follow-up to "Out Of Time", which went to #1 earlier in the summer...

The entry on this chart at #37 is In This Moment with "Whore". It's the third single from their current album Blood; the title track went to #9 here last year...

Meanwhile, on the Modern Rock/Alternative format, the aforementioned "Out Of My League" climbs to the top for its first week.

The top entry at #34 is by the Las Vegas modern rock act the Killers, with the single from their upcoming Direct Hits set, "Shot At The Night". The band has made the top-10 eight times on this chart before, taking "When You Were Young" to #1 in 2006...

Alternative rock group with Christian overtones Switchfoot land at #37 with "Who We Are", the first single from their upcoming ninth studio album Fading West. They've made the top-10 here four times, peaking at #5 with both "Meant To Live" in 2003 and "Dark Horses" two years ago...

The final arrival here at #39, and my "Rock Pick of the Week", are Scottish synthpop trio Chvrches, with their breakthrough single "The Mother We Share"....

Over at the Triple-A (adult album alternative, or "hipster rock") chart, Lorde's "Royals" reigns for a seventh week, while the previously shown "Sirens" by Pearl Jam is the top entry at #14...

The other debut at #27 is British singer/songwriter Frank Turner with the followup to his top-5 hit "Recovery", titled "The Way I Tend To Be"...

On the harder-edged Active Rock radio panel, "Hail To The King" rules for an eighth week, while the aforementioned Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots tracks come in at #27 and #31 respectively...

The other entry at #38 is All That Remains with "What If I Was Nothing"..

Lastly, on the older-skewing Heritage Rock format, Avenged Sevenfold hang on for a fifth week, while "Sirens" is the only entry at #25...

That's it for the rock radio side of the house...I'll be back in an hour and a half with the newest on R&B radio...Rock on!
