Round two of today's "chart sweeps" is up, with the latest songs to make the singles charts in Billboard magazine, and this time out it's the newest rock songs on the radio...

On the all-inclusive Rock Airplay chart (with all the rock format stations), Lorde reclaims the throne for a seventh non-consecutive week with "Royals"...

The other entry at #46 is heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch with "Battle Born". The track leaps to #13 on the Mainstream Rock format...

...and now on to the individual radio format sub-charts...

On the Mainstream Rock radio panel, Avenged Sevenfold spend week number nine at #1 with "Hail To The King"...

The first of two debuts at #35 is All That Remains with "What If I Was Nothing". It also moves to #31 on the Active Rock list...

And at #40 is Christian metal group We As Human with "Strike Back"...

Meanwhile, on the Alternative/Modern Rock chart, Fitz & The Tantrums stick around on top for a second week with "Out Of My League", while the aforementioned "Team" by Lorde is the sole debut at #31...

At the Triple-A (adult album alternative, or "hipster rock") format, "Royals" reigns for an eighth week...

Coming in at #29 are the Killers with "Shot At The Night". It's up to #28 on the Modern Rock format...

the other entry at #30 is surfer-rocker Jack Johnson with "Radiate", the followup to his #1 AAA hit "I Got You"...

On the harder-edged Active Rock radio panel, "Hail To The King" is at #1 for a ninth week, while the aforementioned We As Humans track is the top entry at #36...

The Deftones arrive at #37 with "Romantic Dreams", the third charting single from their Koi No Yokan album...

Christian rock band Skillet return at #40 with "Not Gonna Die"....

Lastly, on the older-skewing Heritage Rock format, "Hail To The King" stays on top for a seventh week...

Jumping in at #17 are the Stone Temple Pilots with Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington on "Black Heart". It follows their #1 collab "Out Of Time"...

And at #25 are Shinedown with "Adrenaline"...

That's a wrap for the latest rock songs...I'll return later with the newest R&B jams. Rock on!
