Country Sweep: November 2, 2013...

The fourth installment of this week's "chart sweeps" is up, and now I've got the songs making their appearance on Billboard's country chart.

On the mag's Top Country Airplay chart, Thomas Rhett holds on for a second week at #1 with "It Goes Like This"...

There are only two debuts on the list this week, but that's ok, because the first one, my "Country Pick of the Week", is one of my favorites of the year. It's singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves with the third single from her amazing Same Trailer, Different Park debut album, "Follow Your Arrow", which in its own little way is country's "Same Love" (though not as complete or direct, but hey, it's country). The single comes in at #56; her first, "Merry Go Round", went to #10...

The other entry at #59 is Rodney Atkins with "Doin' It Right". He's topped the chart six times so far in his career, the most recent being 2011's "Take A Back Road"..
