French Sweep: October 8, 2013...


It's time to cross back over the Atlantic to check out the new songs making the official sales chart in France this week, as Stromae holds on for a fourth week on top with "Formidable"...

The top debut of the week at #11 is singer Vitaa, from the eastern city of Mulhouse, with her second top-40 hit "Game Over". Her first, "A Fleur de Toi", went to #14 back in 2007. The new single features rapper Maitre Gims, who's been to the #1 spot this year with "J'me Tire"...

Parisian rapper Booba enters at #13 with his latest, "RTC". It's his tenth top-40 hit here...



Canadian duo Dvbbs team up with Miami native Borgeous (John Borger) for the single at #38, "Tsunami". It's the first hit for either of the acts....


American producer Mike Will-Made-It takes his collaboration with Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, and Juicy J, "23", to #78 in this country...


Two tracks from rapper Rohff arrive on the chart, from people cherry-picking from his PRDG album which comes in at #2 on the albums chart (under Stromae). First at #94 is "Ti Amo T'es A Moi" ("You Are My Love To Me") featuring singer Amel Bent...


The other Rohff debut at #96 is "Déterminé'" ("Determined")...


Finally making the top 100 at #98 is Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris with "Thinking About You" with Jordanian singer Ayah Marar...


The last debut of the week at #99 is the Aloe Blacc version of his collab that's #4 with Avicii, "Wake Me Up"...
