"You Fooled Me" was a disco radio hit for the Chicago-based duo of Grey and Hanks. Appearing on their debut album You Fooled Me, the song was written and produced by Zane Grey and Len Ron Hanks. The song did not make Billboard magazine's weekly disco chart, but climbed to #19 on their R&B chart in 1978, and was a favorite of clubgoers and DJs.
