Disco Dessert 8/17/20 - "War Dance" from Kebekelektrik...

 

 

"War Dance" was a club hit for the studio act Kebekelektrik, which really was a moniker for singer/songwriter Gino Soccio for mostly instrumental tracks produced by Pat Deserio. Written by Gino, the song appeared on the act's self-titled sole album, and remixed by club legend Tom Moulton. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the song was listed along with its "B-Side", "Mirage". The single peaked there at #9 in 1978.
