Disco Dessert 8/15/20 - "Come To Me" from France Joli...

"Come To Me" was a huge club hit for Québécoise Canadian singer France Joli. Appearing on her debut album France Joli, the song was written and produced by Tony Green, who also sings the male counterpart on the single. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the France Joli album was listed as a single entry, with "Come To Me", "Don't Stop Dancing", and "Playboy" given as key cuts. The record topped the chart for three weeks in 1979, an amazing feat for Joli, then only sixteen when it reached #1.
