Disco Dessert 8/2/20 - "Stomp!" from the Brothers Johnson...

"Stomp!" was a big club and radio hit for the Brothers Johnson. Appearing on their album Light Up The Night, the song was written by Louis and George Johnson along with Louis' wife Valerie and Rod Temperton of the band Heatwave, and produced by Quincy Jones. On Billboard's Disco Top 100 chart, the single topped the list for three weeks in 1980, while also spending two weeks at #1 on their R&B chart and making it to #7 on the pop Hot 100.
