twostepcub's music chart for July 5, 2019...

Friday is here, and it's time to run down my top 100 "hit" tunes from the previous week. Lewis Capaldi spends a second week at #1, while alternative rock band the Head & The Heart (pictured above) leap into the top ten. The top debut of the week belongs to indie-pop newcomers half*alive, who enter at #79 with the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album Now, Not Yet. "Still Feel" is their first charting hit, and the video is definitely one to watch...

The First Ladies Of Disco, who now include Martha Wash, Linda Clifford, and Norma Jean Wright (of Chic fame), make their way to #86 with their new club hit "Don't Stop Me Now". Wright took over from Evelyn "Champagne" King last year (she was on their single "Show Some Love", which made my chart in 2015)...

While singer Maren Morris' current country radio hit "GIRL" rises to #12 on my chart this week, her offering to mainstream pop stations, "The Bones", arrives at #90...

As French DJ star David Guetta drops off my chart with his alter ego Jack Back in "Turn Your Phone Down (Low)", his new single under his real name, "Stay (Don't Go Away)" featuring singer RAYE, replaces it at #92...

Hard rock band Godsmack take their third single from their latest album When Legends Rise, "Under Your Scars", to my list at #93...

Giving proof that every rich white guy gets unlimited chances, Robin Thicke is back at #96 with his latest single, "That's What Love Can Do"...
