"Georgy Porgy" was a club hit for the soft-rock band Toto. Appearing on their eponymous debut album, the mid-tempo lite funk-rock number was written by band keyboardist David Paich, and featured disco singer Cheryl Lynn on backing vocals. In 1979, the track spent a single week at #80 on Billboard magazine's Disco Top 80 chart, while peaking at #18 on their R&B list and #48 on the pop Hot 100.
