Disco Dessert 7/7/19 - "Could It Be Magic" from Donna Summer...

"Could It Be Magic" was a club hit for the "Queen Of Disco", Donna Summer. Appearing on her album A Love Trilogy, the song was a dance-floor re-imagining of the overwrought ballad written by Barry Manilow, who released it back in 1975. A year later, Donna's cover went to #3 on the Disco File Top-20 chart in Record World in 1976. Her version also went to #52 on the American pop Hot 100 and #40 on the British Singles Chart.
