"Follow Me" was an international pop and club hit for model and singer Amanda Lear. Still a hugely mysterious figure whose age, birthplace, and yes, even gender has been in dispute for decades, Amanda was once a protege of artist Salvador Dali before starting up in the music field becoming an iconic disco star in Europe. Appearing on her album Sweet Revenge in 1978, "Follow Me" never made the American charts (none of her songs did), the single was a top-ten hit in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
