"Accidental Lover" was a massive club hit for disco studio group Love And Kisses. Put together by producer Alec Costandinos, the act's debut album Love And Kisses was 15 minute plus versions of this song and "I Found Love (Now That I Found You)", and charted as a single entry on Billboard's National Disco Action Top-40, where it spent three weeks at #1. The group would go on to be famous for recording the theme to the movie Thank God It's Friday the following year.
