Disco Dessert 5/13/19 - "Jingo" from Candido...

"Jingo" was a club hit for Cuban percussionist Candido Camero. Appearing on his album Dancin' & Prancin', the song was written by Babatunde Olatunji of Nigeria. "Jingo" original went to #21 (along with the B-side "Thousand Finger Man") on the Disco Top-80 chart in Billboard magazine. In 1999, a remix of the track climbed to #3 on the Dance Club Play list.
