Dance Sweep: September 6, 2014...

I'm ready to wrap up today's five-part "chart sweeps" tracking the songs making the Billboard singles charts with the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Demi Lovato scores her third consecutive #1 hit from her Demi album with "Really Don't Care". It follows "Neon Lights" and "Heart Attack"...

The highest debut of the week comes from British modern rock act Bastille with "Bad Blood". They went to #1 with "Pompeii" in February. They're at the most Coldplay on this track...

Chicago-born DJ/producer Secondcity takes his former #1 UK hit "I Wanna Feel" to the clubs here at #43. The song samples another #1 dance hit, Toni Braxton's "You're Makin' Me High". I'm likin' this house music revival from Britain, and this one's my "Dance Pick of the Week"...

Newcomer Marletron arrives at #45 with "World Is Yours". The Canadian native now living in London nu-house producer looks like he's 16, but he's apt at combining by-the-book EDM with a more trace-pop sheen a la Kaskade...

Serbian-born DJ Dragan Roganović, who records under the moniker Dirty South, pairs up with singer Sam Martin (the voice behind David Guetta's top-10 "Lovers On The Sun") for "Unbreakable" at #47. It's not as irresistibly epic as Guetta's single, but I can see the appeal, but I'm not counting on a #1 from this...

Enrique Iglesias takes his Spanglish hit "Bailando" to the clubs at #48. At least I can discern between this and his truckload of Jersey Shore-ready records he's been cutting lately...

And at #50 is one of my favorite dance-music singers, Chris Willis, along with French DJ Joachim Garraud for "One Life". I'm glad to see him back, but miss his more soul-ful work with David Guetta...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, L.A. DJ Deorro leaps from #5 to #1 with "Five Hours"...

Newcomer Zhu arrives at #16 with "Faded". The track went to #3 on the British pop singles chart earlier this summer...

Sia's #1 club hit "Chandelier" finally finds a home on dance radio at #21...

The final debut at #25 is from North Carolina native Porter Robinson with "Lionhearted" featuring Urban Cone, and it's a credible EDM jam that'll blend in nicely (not sure if that's a compliment, but...)
