Today's Song of the Day is by the pioneering British electro-pop group the Human League, who had one of the first "new wave" smashes and kicked off the second British invasion with their #1 single "Don't You Want Me" in the summer of 1982. They were nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy (Men at Work won), but they didn't manage to have any more hits in America from their Dare album. While they were getting their next full-length album together, they released a six-song EP of material called Fascination in 1983, and the title track became their second top-10 hit in the States.
"Fascination" topped the US dance chart, while making the top-10 in both the US and Britain.
