Today's Song of the Day is by Portland, Oregon rock group Quarterflash, who had a big year in 1982 with their debut album, which gave them a top-10 single "Harden My Heart" and top-20 followup "Find Another Fool". The following year, they released their sophomore effort Take Another Picture, and the first single released was "Take Me To Heart", with Rindy Ross' saxophone right in the start...

The single reached the top-20 in the summer of 1983, and was the group's last top-40 hit. It also climbed to #6 on the rock radio chart, and was their biggest adult-contemporary hit, peaking at #28. They released one more record before disbanding (Marv and Rindy Ross' hired a band to recently tour under the name).
