Disco Dessert 8/5/20 - "Walking On Music" from the Peter Jacques Band...

"Walking On Music" was a club hit for the studio act Peter Jacques Band, started by Italian producers Jacques Petrus and Mauro Malavasi, the same guys who formed Change (originally with Luther Vandross). Appearing on their debut album Fire Night Dance, the song was written by Malavasi with Alan Taylor. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the Fire Night Dance album was listed as a single entry, with "all cuts" (there were only four) given as "key cuts". The record peaked at #6 in 1979.
