"Phatt Bass" was a club hit collaboration between German groups Warp Brothers and Aquagen. Appearing on the Warp Brothers debut album Warp Factor, the record was written by Jurgen Dohr and Oliver Goedicke from the Warp Brothers, Gino Montesaro and Olaf Dieckmann from Aquagen, Dennis Bierbrodt, and Guido Kramer, all over an interpolation of New Order's 1983 classic "Confusion". On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #39 in 2001. It was also a top ten hit in the UK at #9.
