Disco Dessert 9/19/21 - "Flawless" by the Ones"...

 

 

"Flawless" was a big club hit for the Ones, a trio from Greenwich Village, New York City. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was written by the act's Paul Alexander and Nashom Wooden along with Oliver Sturm. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #4 in 2002. It also rose to #7 on the British Singles chart, and was interpolated by the late George Michael on his top ten hit "Flawless (Go To The City)" two years later. Wooden, who also performed under the drag name of Mona Foot, died of COVID-19 in March of 2020.
