Songs from Olivia Rodrigo, Kings Of Leon, and HVME/Travis Scott make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while no former big hits drop out this week (a few small ones do). John Legend returns to my list at #91 with "U Move, I Move" featuring Jhene Aiko (who is also on here with her own "B.S." at #65). The track is from his 2020 album Bigger Love...
Speaking of TikTok, at #93 is a rendition of a song actually written in the 1800's, and Scottish postal worker/musician Nathan Evans takes his version of "Soon May The Wellerman Come", a whaling ballad that his gone viral on the platform as "ShantyTok", gets producers 220 Kid (who's been on my list twice before) and Billen Ted for a remix of "Wellerman" that is currently sitting at #2 on the British singles chart...
As Ava Max holds tight at #3 with her former #1 "Kings & Queens", she arrives at #97 with her new single "My Head & My Heart"...
And bringing up the rear at #100 is former American Idol finalist Gabby Barrett, whose "I Hope", one of the biggest songs on my list last year, is still hanging around at #53. Her follow-up single is "The Good Ones"...
