Disco Dessert 2/16/21 - "Southern Sun" from Oakenfold...

 

 

"Southern Sun" was a club hit for DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold. Appearing on his first full-length studio album Bunkka, the song was written and produced by Paul, and featured vocals from New Zealand singer Carla Werner. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #9 in 2002. It also went to #16 on the British singles chart.
