"To Get Down" was a club hit for German DJ/producer Timo Maas. Appearing on his debut full-length album Loud, the song was written by Maas and producer Martin Buttrich along with Malte Hagemeister and Phil Barnes, with Barnes providing the vocals. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #4 in 2002. It also made the top ten in Belgium at #4 and stopped at #14 on the British singles chart.
