Disco Dessert 2/10/21 - "Will I?" from Ian Van Dahl...

 

 

"Will I?" was a club hit for Belgian dance act Ian Van Dahl, which was not an actual person but rather a trio of Annemie Coenen, Diana Dander. and Jeanine Tiemissen,  The song was written by produers Erik Vanspauwen and Christophe Chantzis along with original lead singer Martine Theeuwen, who had left when she found out they tried to "Milli Vanilli" her on a previous single. It appeared on the group's first album Ace, with Coenen re-recording the lead vocals. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #18 in 2002, while climbing all the way to #5 on the British singles chart.
