"Everlasting Love" was a big radio and club hit for singer Carl Carlton. Written by Buzz Cason and Mac Guyden and originally a hit for soul singer Robert Knight, the remake appeared on Carl's album Everlasting Love. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single peaked at #4 in 1974, while reaching #6 on the pop Hot 100.
