"Love Come Down" was the 1982 single from soul and dance music singer Evelyn "Champagne" King, who at that time had dropped the bubbly nickname from her recording moniker. Taken from the Get Loose album, the song was her biggest hit on Billboard magazine's R&B chart, spending five weeks at #1. The track also took three weeks at the top of their Disco/Dance Tracks chart, tying her run with "I'm In Love" a year earlier.
