"Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me From You" was the first and biggest solo hit for singer Teri Desario, who is mostly known for her #2 hit duet with disco legend K.C. (of the Sunshine Band), "Yes I'm Ready". This song, recorded for her album Pleasure Train, was written and produced by the Bee Gees' Barry Gibb, who also sang backup of the track. While the track missed Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks chart, it climbed to #43 on their pop Hot 100 chart in America, though it deserved a much better fate, especially considering it was on the classic disco label Casablanca, home of Donna Summer, in 1978, the height of the genre.
