"Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" was a single on Motown affiliate Tamla Records for actress and soul singer Thelma Houston (no relation to Cissy and Whitney). Taken from her album Ready To Roll, the track rose to #33 on Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Tracks chart. It also climbed to #19 on their R&B list, and #34 on the pop Hot 100. It would be her last hurrah before leaving the label - she previously topped the disco charts for six weeks with "Don't Leave Me This Way" paired with "Any Way You Like It" - the former winning her a Grammy Award in the process.
