Disco Dessert 11/18/18 - "Show And Tell" from Al Wilson

"Show And Tell" was a song originally recorded by Johnny Mathis that soul singer Al Wilson transformed into a classic and one of the very earliest singles in the evolution of "disco" music. Topping the American pop chart in 1974, before Billboard magazine published a disco-themed chart, the song got to #10 on their R&B list. Written by Jerry Fuller, Wilson's emotion reading of the track appeared on his album of the same name. Wilson passed away in 2008, but this remains one of my all-time favorite pop singles.
