twostepcub's music chart for November 9, 2018...

Friday's here, and it's time to run down my top 100 tunes from the previous week. Imagine Dragons fire up at #1 for a third week, while the Revivalists (pictured above) race into the top five. Former big hits from Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor drop off my chart, while songs from Ella Mai, Shawn Mendes/Zedd, and Jimmie Allen make some of the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red). The wave did come, though the undercurrent will take a while...

Soul diva Mary J. Blige takes the top debut of the week at #90 with "Only Love". The song so far is a stand-alone single, but I would crave a full on disco throwdown album from Mary...

Well, it looks like country crossover duo Dan + Shay are in the running for the biggest song of the year on my chart with "Tequila", and now their follow-up single arrives on my list, as "Speechless" is in at #92...

Jennifer Hudson is back at #93 with her latest club jam, "I'll Fight". She will be starring in the film revival of the Broadway musical Cats as Grizabella...

Pop singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson leads off his new album Sings His Sad Heart with the track that enters at #95, "Used To Be"...

Dutch DJ/producer R3HAB recruits singer Sofia Carson for "Rumors", which shuffles in at #98...

The latest from British girl group and X Factor UK winners Little Mix, "Woman Like Me", rolls in at #99. It features rapper Nicki Minaj, who apparently is beefing for Cardi B for a myriad of things including this track...

Bringing up the rear at #100 is Blake Shelton with the third single from his Texoma Shore album, "Turnin' Me On"....
