"Shotgun" was a club hit for rapper Raheem, an original member of the group the Geto Boys. Appearing on his solo debut album The Vigilante, the song was written by Raheem (under his real name Oscar Ceres) with producers Karl Stephenson and James Smith. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #50 in 1989.
