"Funky Celebration" was a club hit for American disco singer Gloria Brooks, who recorded under the alias Queen Samantha. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was written by Harry and Myriam Chalkitis and Mike Swirid, with Harry producing with Charles Ibgui. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100, the single peaked at #79 in 1981.
