"Soviet Snow" was a club hit for New Zealand singer/songwriter Shona Laing. Appearing on her album South, the song was written by Laing, who co-produced it with Stephen McCurdy, Graeme Myhre, and Bruce Lynch, and remixed for the clubs by Justin Strauss and Murray Elias. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #34 in 1988.
