Disco Dessert 1/9/23 - "(You) Keep Making Me Hot" by Busta Jones...

 

 

"(You) Keep On Making Me Hot" was a club hit for bassist and singer Michael "Busta" Jones. Appearing on his self-titled and only album, the song was written by Jones, who produced the track with Gino Soccio. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100 chart, it was listed along with the single's "B-Side", "(Everybody's) Dancing All Over The World". The single peaked at #15 at the beginning of 1980. Jones, who also toured with Talking Heads and recorded with Brian Eno, passed away from a heart attack at 44 years old in 1995.
