"New York" was a club hit for the Italian studio group Nuggets. Appearing on their debut album N.Y. with Proud Mary, the song was written by Alan Taylor and Celso Valli and produced by Angelo and Felix Piccarreda. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80, the single peaked at #47 in 1979.
