"Leave My Monkey Alone" was a club hit for rock music artist Warren Zevon. Appearing on his album Sentimental Hygiene, the song was written by Zevon, who co-produced it with Niko Bolas and Andrew Slater, and arranged by funk master George Clinton. The club remixes were done by Larry Fergusson as well as the Latin Rascals (Albert Cabrera and Tony Moran). On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single peaked at #18 in 1987.
