Disco Dessert 10/3/22 - "1-2-3" by Salazar...

 

 

"1-2-3" was a club hit for the studio group Salazar, named for its lead singer Pete Salazar. Appearing on their debut album Salazar, the song was a disco cover of the pop hit from 1965 by Len Barry written by Barry with John Madara and Barry White, this time produced and mixed by David Perry, the other front member of the group. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100, the single peaked at #60 in 1980, spending a hefty 23 weeks on the list.
