"Take Me To The Top" was a club hit for the Italian-based post-disco act Advance. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was produced by the group's leads Dario Raimondi and Alvaro Ugolini, and written by Raimondi with Alfredo "Abacab" Pignagnoli, Linda Wesley, Van Patterson, and Ivana Spagna (the latter was a big dance music star in Italy in the 1980s). The 12" version was remixed by Ben Liebrand. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #55 in 1983.
