"You And I" was a club hit for Swedish singer and model Madleen Kane. Appearing on her second album Cheri, the song was written and produced by Lana Michaele and Paul Sebastian. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the slow dance track was listed as the B-side of her single "Forbidden Love". The two songs reached #3 on the chart in 1979.
