"Doctor Music" was a club hit for singer and actress Renee Harris who came to fame in the role of Dorothy in the touring show of the Broadway musical The Wiz. Appearing on her sole album I'm A Music Machine, the song was written and produced by Michael Kunze and Silvester Levay. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the single peaked at #31 in 1977.
