twostepcub's music chart for July 16, 2021...

Friday's here, and it's time yet again to run down my top "hit" tunes from the previous week. We finally have a new #1 with Pink, while Maroon 5 and Megan Thee Stallion, who won Best New Artist Grammys 16 years apart, climb a notch in the top ten. Songs from Greta Van Fleet, BTS, and Olivia Rodrigo make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits from Eric Church, The Offspring, and Lord Huron drop off my chart. And right under the list everything is Spotify playlisted for 5 1/2 hours of listening goodness. Is it over already? Waaaah!

Along with one re-entry, there are eight songs making their debut on my list this week, highlighted in blue, and if you click on any of them, you'll connect to that artist's official website for more info. And here they are on video, after the break...

(Click below to see the rest of the post)

Rocketing in all the way up at #35 is Ed Sheeran with his brand new single "Bad Habits", from his upcoming fifth studio album...

Neo-soul singer/songwriter Giveon, who is already on here as a guest on Justin Bieber's "Peaches", makes his own debut at #82 with "Heartbreak Anniversary"...

Country A-lister and American Idol judge Luke Bryan floats in at #88 with "Waves", the "fifth" single from the deluxe version of his Born Here, Live Here, Die Here album. The other four all went to #1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart...

L.A. trio TELYkast team up with TikTok phenomenon Loren Gray (from Pottstown, Pennsylvania) at #92 with their top ten dance radio hit "Nobody To Love"...

Australian DJ/producer Dom Dolla drives in at #93 with "Pump The Brakes"...

British rapper KSI is in at #96 with the third entry on my list from his album All Over The Place, "Holiday"...

As Italy wins the Euro 2020 football tournament, the country's pride and winners of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, glam-rock band Maneskin, now have two songs on my list this week, and neither of them was the winner of that show. Joining "I Wanna Be Your Slave" at #99 is their remake of "Beggin'", which originally was a hit for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, but this takes more on the version by Norwegian duo Madcon in 2007 which made my list back then...

The final newbie of the week at #100 belongs to hard rock band Zero 9:36 with their breakthrough rock radio hit "Adrenaline"...
