Disco Dessert 7/13/21 - "Change" by Zulema...

 

 

"Change" was a club hit for Zulema (Cusseaux). Appearing on her album Z-Licious, the song was written by the singer, who also co-produced it with Van McCoy. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the single peaked at #37 in 1979, and well as climbed to #46 on the R&B chart. Zulema was also a member of the disco group Faith, Hope & Charity and wrote for Aretha Franklin.
