"Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" was a huge club hit for the trio Indeep, with producer/musician Michael Cleveland and singers Reggie Megliore and Rose Marie Ramsey. Appearing on their debut album Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, the song was written by Cleveland, who co-produced it with Reggie Thompson. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top-80 chart, the single spent six weeks at #2 in 1982, while going to #10 on their R&B list.
