"Is It Love" was a club hit for the Bronx-based group Machine. Appearing on their second album Moving On, the song was written by the band's Jay Stovall, Kevin Nance, Melvin Lee, and Lonnie Ferguson, and produced and mixed by Joe Ferla. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the single peaked at #27 in 1980. The group is best known for their classic "There But For The Grace Of God Go I".
